Terms of Business
The requirements of each project are different, and hence terms may be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. However, the following genereralisations can be given.
Significant new development may be undertaken on a fixed-price basis, and will carry a three month warrantee following user-acceptance, during which time any identified bugs in specified functionality or reproducable failures will be fixed free of charge.
Software troubleshooting and maintenance will usually be charged on a 'time and materials' basis, owing to the widely varying nature of such issues.
All work is insured under a professional indemnity policy.
Location
Work can in principle be carried out either on client site, at the Centre Line Principle office, or a combination of both according to the demands of the project. We currently have bases in Hampshire and London.
